Take one look inside his ancient blue-green station wagon,
sitting as docile as a hitched mule on the sloping Southside street,
and you know Stephen Sedberry travels with just the essentials, one guitar,
one autoharp, one harmonica, one large bottle of vitamin C, two school
notebooks with the words of his songs, and a pair of blue sneakers. The
shoe that presses the gas pedal has a small hole worn through it.
Carved into his guitar's shoulder strap is the description " A poet and
a 1-man band. " But the far-wandering Birmingham Boy prefers another title:
"The Alabama Troubadour." (The Birmingham News, Dale Short)
